Sergio Almaguer is co-founder and former CEO of Yaydoo, a Mexico City procurement, accounts-payable and B2B payments platform. Acquisition coverage (BusinessWire / Paystand, August 2022) says he started Yaydoo around 2016–2017 with Guillermo Treviño and Roberto Flores; his LinkedIn lists the company from August 2016. Software Como Servicio EP05 also covered PorCobrar, a collections product that Yaydoo still markets for invoicing, reminders and cobranza. Paystand acquired Yaydoo in August 2022 and later lists Almaguer as Chief Product Officer. Public bios place his upbringing in Monterrey (born Tamaulipas), a BSc in Information Technologies from Tecnológico de Monterrey, a Master’s in Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship from EPFL in Lausanne, and earlier technology, marketing and sales work including Microsoft and GE Energy.
